Today we’ll be working with a half-circle skirt.
I’m pretty sure there are a lot of video lessons about it. You may have already noticed that I like simple techniques and designs. We’ll make a half-circle skirt of a very simple design. I’ll show you how to do it for you to understand the technique.
We need just 2 measurements to make a skirt – the waist and the length of an item. The waist is 68 and the length – 60.
I can start cutting. The both parts are even in a half-circle skirt. If you have any questions, write them in comments.
It will be a very nice flared skirt with the even folds. It depends on whether you draw this line accurately. It should be of a good round shape.
It’s even easier to make a 2nd half. I fold the fabric on a bias and lay it along the edge of a table. I put the 1st half here and copy it.
I think that you will have to spend some time and efforts sewing this skirt. I’ve already told you not to fall for the items in 5 minutes. But it’s true that you need just 10 minute to cut it.
I tack one seam till the end and leave an opening for a zipper in the 2nd one.

You don’t have to be a professional to make the items for yourself. Just remember that the color is very important.
