Hey everyone! I'm back!! Here is a video I made last year but I forgot to upload.. hehe It was originally an assignment for my fashion drawing class to get exchange thrift store clothing with our classmates and turn it into something new. It was basically a way to get more ideas for our fashion design collection. I decided to record my progress but I never got to upload the video because it was unfinished and I ran out of grey thread.. it took me a year to get new grey thread (that didnt really match well) and I finished the edges very crappyly and upload the video.

Anyway I also wanted to bring awareness to textile waste because its a huge problem. We throw out so much clothing every year and synthetic fibers take hundreds of years to biodegrade while natural fibers contain a lot of chemicals from dyes and can't be composted. So that's why lets give a second life to used garments and prevent it from ending up in landfills.
